O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed by a retired Selection Grade Assistant Manager of the respondent Transport Corporation, seeking a 1/4

Mandamus directing the respondent to pay the difference amount of encashment of earned leave based on the revised scale of pay as per the 6th Pay Commission report with 18% interest.

2. Seeking the above said benefits, the writ petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent herein on 20.08.2021. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent.

4. Considering the above said facts, the respondent herein is directed to disburse the eligible amount to the writ petitioner based upon the 6th Pay Commission benefits along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum, from the due date, till the date of disbursement, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
