ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by J. NISHA BANU, J.) This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 14.03.2024 against the order of the compulsory retirement dated 25.11.2022 passed by the second respondent.

2. Heard Mr.M.Gnana Guru Nathan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Mahaboob Aathif, learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. Challenging the order of compulsory retirement passed by the second respondent, dated 25.11.2022, the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the first respondent. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on 14.03.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the petitioner and final orders shall be passed within a period of five (5) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
