O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant two months leave for taking treatment for the petitioner's spinal problem by considering his representation, dated 23.02.2015, within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. The petitioner, who is confined at Madurai Central Prison, has made a representation before the respondents on 23.02.2015 seeking medical leave. The said representation has not been considered by the respondents so far. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition with the above stated relief.

4. Taking into consideration the pendency of the representation made by the petitioner, dated 23.02.2015, without going into the merits, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.02.2015 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
