This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry. 2.Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by one Moorthy, the respondent police conducted the investigation and registered a case in Crime No.1188 of 2019 against the petitioner. 3.Under such circumstances, once a regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Hence, if any direction is issued by this Court at this stage, it will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.
