ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the detenu or body of the detenu, ie.,the petitioner's son namely S.Richard Raj, son of Simkaraj aged about 33 years, before this Court and set him at liberty. 2.The detenu has been produced before this Court by the respondent police. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner herself on 31.05.2023 has given a statement that the detenu has returned back to the in-laws family and presently he is residing with them. This has been corroborated by the wife of the detenu, as she has also given a similar statement to the respondent police on 31.05.2023.

3. In view of the above, since the detenu has left sometime in February 2023 due to credit problem and has returned back and presently residing with the family members, we feel that this Petition can be closed. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. (R.S.K.,J.)
