PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.09/2020 on the file of the respondent police station within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.09/2020 on the file of the respondent police station within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in the aforesaid crime. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the accused persons were involved in the job racketing, in which, several persons have been cheated.

3.The learned Additional Public prosecutor for the respondent police submitted that so far nine complaint have been received against the accused persons and the investigation is still going on. Hence, he seeks three months time to conclude the investigation and file a final report.

4.Considering the nature of the allegations and the offence made against the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.09/2020 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and send a compliance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.8270 of 2021 report to the Registry.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
