Respondents Prayer: Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the first respondent to instruct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members for peaceful possession and enjoyment of the properties comprised in Survey Nos.314/6, 314/3, 314/9, 352/1B, 314/7, 316/2 an extent of 6.08 acres (2.56.43 Hectare) situated at Kondalavi Hamlet of Sonaiperiyankottai Village, Muthukulathoor Taluk, Ramanathapuram District on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner on 04.06.2018.

ORDER

This petition has been filed praying to direct the first respondent to instruct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members for peaceful possession and enjoyment of the properties, on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner on 04.06.2018. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2.

3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation, dated 04.06.2018 to the respondents 1 & 2 seeking for police protection to the petitioner. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this Criminal Original Petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), on instructions, would submit that based on the statement given by the petitioner before the respondent, the complaint was closed.

5.Recording submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to seek his remedy before the appropriate jurisdictional Magistrate, if so advised.
