ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner, on 22.04.2021, wherein, the petitioner has sought for issuance of Death Certificate of his mother, who died on 23.06.2010.
2.The grievance of the petitioner is that his mother died, on 23.06.2010, leaving behind the petitioner and six others as the legal heirs. The petitioner made a representation in this regard to the first respondent, since the first respondent is the competent authority to issue a Death Certificate under the provisions of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969 and the Rules thereunder. Since the same did not evoke any response, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court, seeking for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the first second respondents submitted that the petitioner can submit an appropriate application before the first respondent in the required format by providing necessary particulars and the same will be considered by the first respondent, within the time frame fixed by this Court.
4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit an application before the first respondent in the requisite format by providing all the particulars and the first respondent shall consider the application and issue necessary Certificate within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the application from the petitioner.
5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
