Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent herein to conduct enquiry before registering any deed with regard to Old Survey Number 71, New Survey No.71-1A, 71-1B, 71-1C and 71-1D to the extent of 20.53 cents, situated at Mullur Muthukumarapuram Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District, and to consider the petitioners Objection Petition dated 12.01.2026 and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice.

ORDER

The writ petition is filed for the following relief:- "Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent herein to conduct enquiry before registering any deed with regard to Old Survey Number 71, New Survey No.71-1A, 71-1B, 71-1C and 71-1D to the extent of 20.53 cents, situated at Mullur Muthukumarapuram Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District, and to consider the petitioners Objection Petition dated 12.01.2026 and pass such further or other orders as this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and thus render justice."

2. Heard Mr.C.Suresh Kannan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.F.Deepak, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent.

3. The writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage without issuing notice to the respondents 2 and 3. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter. In view of the limited relief, the same is granted at the admission stage itself.

4. Since the petitioner is said to file an objection dated 12.01.2026, it is natural that if any document is presented by Respondents 2 and 3, or any other interested parties, at the time of registration, this objection shall be duly considered. An enquiry shall be conducted by putting the petitioner on notice as well as the other claimants or the executors of the documents, as the case may be and the decision shall be taken in accordance with the law.

5. With these directions and observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
