*********** [Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.] The petitioner seeks a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take appropriate action to ensure proper service and amenities to the General Public, by considering his representation dated 19.04.2018 and pass orders.

2. The petitioner, who is stated to be a practising Advocate, has submitted a representation dated 19.04.2018, before the respondents. The said representation, till date, remains unanswered.

3. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.M.Pandiarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent No.1 and Mr.K.Sathiya Singh, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 2 to 9.

4. Mr.M.Pandiarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the first respondent, on instructions, informs that the

representation of the petitioner dated 19.04.2018 will be considered by the first respondent on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame, that may be fixed by this Court.

5. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.04.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the outcome of the representation of the petitioner shall be intimated to him. No costs.
