Respondent Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order of the respondent vide his proceedings in f.vz;.c.nr.ngh/,Ng/ej;/t.M/Nfh.24/.m.vz;.178/20 dated 10.07.2020 and quash the same as illegal and consequently forbear the respondent from in any manner to disconnect the petitioner's house electricity connection on the basis of the impugned order of the respondent.

O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent. 2.It appears that the petition mentioned service connection was tampered with and hence the respondent levied compensation charges of Rs.85,900/- on the petitioner. Since the petitioner did not pay the said amount, the impugned order proposing disconnection has been issued.

3.This Court made it clear that the petitioner must regularly pay the current consumption charges and also undertake to clear the petition mentioned arrears. The petitioner's counsel states that the compensation charges arising out of energy theft will be paid by him in eight equal monthly installments. W.P.(MD)No.10026 of 2020 will commence from 05.10.2020 onwards. If the petitioner commits default even in respect of a single installment, the order impugned in the writ petition will be enforced. The petitioner of course has to pay the other usual charges.

4.Recording the petitioner's undertaking and keeping the interim order in abeyance, subject to compliance of the said undertaking, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
