Mr.D.Sadiq Raja (in all W.Ps.) Additional Government Pleader C O M M O N O R D E R The relief sought for in the present writ petitions is to direct the respondent to dispose the appeal preferred by the petitioners within a time stipulated by this Court.
2. On perusal, it is seen that the petitioners have preferred appeals to set aside the revised panel published by the Competent Authority. The petitioners are working as Senior Revenue Inspectors and they claim that they had undergone all the training programmes and fully qualified for promotional post of Deputy Tahsildar.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent made a submission that appeals preferred by the petitioner will be considered on merits.
4. In view of the above submission, the respondent is directed to consider the appeals preferred by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
