PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.690 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who was arrested on 09.06.2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aaa)r/w.4(1-A) of TNP Act in Crime No.690 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that when the respondent police were engaged in prevention of prohibition offence on 09.06.2021 at about 5.00 am., near karupur burial ground they found the petitioner in possession of 110 litres of ID arrack. Hence the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is in judicial custody from 09.06.2021, hence he seek bail.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police opposed this petition on the ground that the investigation is not yet completed. He would further submit that three previous case of similar nature are pending against the petitioner in Crime Nos.680 of 2021, 289 of 2021 and 261 of 2021.

5. Taking into consideration all these facts and also considering the fact that the petitioner is having three previous cases of similar nature in the year of 2021, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
