Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of quo-warranto, directing the respondents 4 to 6 and other similarly placed persons, who got their appointments from the waiting list of Group-I services 20002001 batch, conducted by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission to show cause under what authority they are holding the public post in pursuant to the judgment of this Hon'ble Court dated 04.03.2011 passed in W.A.Nos.1063 and 1287 of 2009 in which 83 candidates selections were set aside and later, which was confirmed and upheld by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India by its judgment dated 30.06.2014 delivered in C.A.No.5877-78/2014 and to prevent them in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] When the matter was taken up for hearing today, there was no representation for the petitioner. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, and the learned counsel appearing for the 3rd respondents were present. It appears that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the matter further. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed for default. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
