The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform cultural programmes of "Adal Padal - Kalai Nigalchi" scheduled to be held on 29.04.2023 in the "Flowering Festival" to Viralimalai Arulmighu Sri Meikannudaiyal Amman attached to Pudukottai Thirukovil situated at MGR Nagar, Viralimalai, Viralimalai Taluk, Pudukottai District. 2.Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.It is brought to the notice of this Court that on 08.04.2023, a murder took place in such a type of event in Keeranur Sub Division. Therefore, there shall be a direction to the respondents to reject the petitioner's representation without any reference to this Court. 4.With the above directions, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
