PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.88/2023 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 26.03.2023 for the offence punishable under Sections 5(f) r/w. 6 of POCSO Act,2012 and section 506(i) of IPC in crime No.88 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein committed sexual assault on the minor victim boy aged about 13 years, hence the case.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

4. It is seen that the petitioner was working as a warden in the private school hostel and during his tenure he had committed https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.7150 of 2023 sexual assault on the victim boy who is aged about 13 years. A persual of the complaint also reveals that the petitioner has committed very serious and heinous offence as against the minor victim boy, hence this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
