Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the order passed by the respondent No.2 dated 12.03.2015 and quash the same as unlawful and consequently direct the respondent No.1 to grant permission to the petitioner to organize the public demonstration at opposite to Pavoorchatram Bus Stand on 22.03.2015 at 04.00 p.m.

O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side).

2.While the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the order under challenge has been passed by an authority not empowered to do so, and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the place wherein the petitioner seeks permission to conduct public demonstration would not be a proper one, we have an agreement of both sides that the petitioner may be permitted to conduct demonstration infront of the Registrar Office at Pavoorchatram.

3.Accodingly, the writ petition is allowed and the petitioner is permitted to conduct public demonstration in front of the Registrar Office at Pavoorchatram on 22.03.2015 at 04.00 p.m. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
