ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2020 within a stipulated period of time fixed by this Court.
2.Heard Mr.K.Gokul, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Jeyakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. The petitioner, after had been working for 34 years as Teacher, retired from service as Secondary Grade Teacher on 31.07.2009. Though the petitioner retired longback, he has made a representation only on 25.02.2020 stating that since he had been working for 34 years before the superannuation, as per G.O.No.58, Adi Dravida Welfare Department, dated 24.07.2014, the petitioner should have been considered for conferring the Selection Grade and Special Grade at the Secondary Grade Teacher/Primary School Headmaster cadre and accordingly, his pay has to be revised and correspondingly his pensionary benefits has also to be revised. Making the said plea, the said representation was made, hence, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, if the said representation is directed to be considered by the respondent and orders to that effect is directed to be passed on merits within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.10128 of 2020 time frame to be stipulated by this Court, the petitioner would be satisfied.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that, though the petitioner has given the representation only on 25.02.2020 i.e., after 10 years of his superannuation, which is a belated one, any how, the said representation would be considered by the respondents on merits within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for herein, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the following direction:
"The respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.02.2020 with regard to his plea for conferment of selection grade and special grade and correspondingly pay revision and consequential pension revision and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
