Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to issue Legal Heir Certificate based on the petitioner's application dated 08.01.2015. ORDER
The petitioner has sought for a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to issue Legal Heir Certificate, based on his application dated 08.01.2015.
2. Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate, on instructions from the respondents, would submit that after a thorough enquiry, the application of the petitioner, seeking Legal Heir Certificate, was rejected, on 18.02.2015, directing the petitioner to approach the competent Civil Court.
3. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent Civil Court for appropriate relief. No costs.
