O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition seeks to revise an order of dismissal passed by, the learned Rent Control Appellate Authority, in a petition filed under Order 41 Rule 27. A petition under Order 41 Rule 27 is not maintainable before the Rent Court as there is no question of additional evidence since the Code of Civil Procedure does not apply to 1/3

proceedings under TNRRRLT Act. In any event, the additional documents that is sought to be produced are rent receipts, which do not fall under the term "agreement" as per Section 4(1) of TNRRRLT Act. Only a registered agreement would defeat the claim of the landlord. Hence, I do not find any error in the appellate authority dismissing the said petition.

2. Accordingly, the Civil Revision Petition is dismissed. No costs.
