The petitioners, who is an accused, has filed this petition, seeking to to direct the Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam, to expedite the trial in C.C.No.740 of 2022 pending before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Thirumangalam.

2. Though this Court is not inclined to grant relief sought for by the petitioner, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the trial has already been commenced and the summon has also been issued for the witnesses L.W.1 to L.W.3, for their appearance on 11.06.2024.
