Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned order vide Letter No.E1/15928/2011 dated 01.12.2014 passed by the respondent and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondent to appoint the petitioner under the compassionate ground. For Petitioner : Mr.S.Anwar Sameem For Respondent : Mr.D.Muruganantham, Additional Government Pleader.

ORDER

The writ petitioner, even at the time of filing of the Writ Petition, was aged about 52 years and now, he was around 57 years. The claim of the writ petitioner for compassionate appointment was rejected in proceeding dated 01.12.2014. When the fact remains that the writ petitioner is already aged about 57 years, he is over aged and the scheme of compassionate appointment cannot be extended in his favour.

2.With this observation, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
