Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS forbearing the respondents 1 and 2 herein from in any manner issuing no Objection Certificate for issuance/Renewal of Passport and Visa pending criminal case in C.C.No.5/2026 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Oddanchathiram in favour of the respondents 5 and 6 by considering petitioner's representation dated 29.11.2025.

ORDER

The petitioner is before this Court seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 forbearing them from issuing No Objection Certificate for issuance/Renewal of Passport and Visa in favour of the respondents 5 and 6. It is alleged by the petitioner that the said respondents, without obtaining permission from the jurisdictional criminal Court in which cases are pending against them, trying to apply for issuance/Renewal of Passport and Visa.

2. Admittedly, the respondents 5 and 6 have not filed any application with the first respondent for renewal of passport and the apprehension that the first respondent is likely to renew the passport, without the said respondents obtaining permission from the jurisdictional criminal Court, is unfounded and 3/6

misplaced.

3. Hence, the relief sought for in the writ petition is devoid of merits and pre-matured and accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No Costs.
