[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble CHIEF JUSTICE] We have heard Mr.T.Selvakumaran, learned counsel, for the petitioner and Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader, for the first respondent and Mr.S.Sivanesan, learned counsel, for the second respondent.

2. The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.12.2023 for removal of a TASMAC Shop bearing No.4703.

3. Learned Government Pleader for the first respondent submits that the petitioner has a remedy before the Appellate Authority under Rules 8 and 9 of the Tamil Nadu Liquor Retail Vending (In Shops and Bars) Rules, 2003.

4. In the light of that, the aggrieved person, if any, may avail the remedy as provided under the aforesaid Rules.

5. With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
