Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to extend the Toll (Magamai) Collection right to the petitioner for the Fasli 1430 year in compensation towards Covid-19 Lockdown period in respect of Weekly and Daily Market operated by the Arulmigu Arunachaleswarar Temple [Schedule Temple 46(ii)], situated at Sivan Koil Campus, Manamelkudi Town, Pudukkottai District.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 15.05.2021 wherein the petitioner is seeking for extension of the period of license.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the 4th respondent submitted that the representation made by the petitioner has been rejected by quoting Clause No.16 of the terms and conditions of the tender, which makes it very clear that no extension of time will be granted under any circumstances.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the 4th respondent, no further orders can be passed in the present writ petition and it will always be left open to the petitioner to participate in the auction conducted by the 4th respondent.

4. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
