issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the statutory petition dated 25.11.2025 preferred by the petitioners, under section 54 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner is before this Court seeking for a direction to the second respondent to consider the petition dated 25.11.2025 filed under Section 54 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971.
2. In the said petition, the petitioner is seeking for modification of the lay out plan approved in favour of the 4th respondent citing that their immovable properties is surrounded by three water channels and no ingress and egress to the properties and therefore seeks modification of the said approved lay out plan. The petitioner's grievance is that the said petition has not been considered as on today. 2/4
3. The learned Standing counsel for the third respondent on receiving instructions submitted that the said petition will be considered in accordance with law within the time frame to be stipulated by this Court.
4. The said submission is placed on record.
5. The Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the petition dated 25.11.2025 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of three(3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after notifying all the interested persons. No Costs.
