RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend the time granted by this Hon'ble court in Crl.OP(MD).No. 5072 of 2020 dated 08.06.2020 for the purpose of surrender and to execute the sureties before the Learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputhur.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.C.VAKEESWARAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.SUYAMBULINGA BHARATHI, Government Advocate(Criminal side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time granted by this Court.

2. This Court, by an order dated 08.06.2020 in Crl.OP.(MD) No.5072 of 2020, directed the petitioner to appear before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that due to pandemic situation he is not able to surrender the sureties before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar within the prescribed time.

4. Heard the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondent police.

CRL MP(MD) No.4211 of 2020 Two weeks from today and the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Court below on or before 11.09.2020 and also directed to deposit a sum of Rs.5,000/-(Rupees Five Thousand Only) to the credit of the Advocate Clerks' Association, Pattukkottai (Bank of India, Pattukkottai Branch, Saving Account No.814610110009887, IFSC Code: BKID0008146 ) without prejudice to his rights and contention before the trial Court.
