Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to give adequate police protection for celebration of festival at Sri Elupillai Mariamman Temple and Vinayagar Temple situated at Suliyapatti Village, Aanampatti Post, Manaparai Taluk, Trichy District schedule to be conducted from 20.03.2015 to 23.03.2015 based on petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2015.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to give adequate police protection for celebration of festival at Sri Elupillai Mariamman Temple and Vinayagar Temple situated at Suliyapatti Village, Aanampatti Post, Manaparai Taluk, Trichy District schedule to be conducted from 20.03.2015 to 23.03.2015 based on petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. By consent the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that a peace committee committee meeting is fixed today (i.e. 19.03.2015), where the petitioner is arrayed as "A" party and the opposite party will also attend the meeting.

5. In view of the above, this Court directs both the parties to appear before the peace committee and will abide by the resolution passed by the peace committee.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
