ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 319(2), 242 of BNS, in Crime No.02 of 2026 , seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had been practising before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Kadaladi, by impersonating another advocate and using his enrolment number. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. This is the second petition seeking anticipatory bail. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petitioner had been practising 2/4

before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Kadaladi, by impersonating another advocate and using his enrolment number. He further submitted that eight previous cases are pending against the petitioner. Therefore, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the nature of the offence, though this is the second petition, there is no change in circumstances and the investigation is still pending. Considering the gravity of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. (P D B J) 15.04.2026 PNM TO 1.The Inspector of Police, Kadaladi Police Station, Ramanathapuram District.
