This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.04.2025 to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct Kavadi Prayer on 11.04.2025 following that Annadhanam on 13.04.2025 at Arulmigu Koppatti Amman Valiyaththal Amman Temple situated at Valavandhi Village, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that already the matter has been settled between the parties through peace committee meeting. There is no dispute in conducting the festival and they will provide adequate police protection for the temple festival.

3.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondent, is inclined to close the writ petition by recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. Accordingly, this petition is closed.
