Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent to permit the petitioner to conduct Jallikkattu function on 15.07.2018 regarding Sri Adikkalang Kathar Ayyanar temple festival or to consider the petitioner's representation as following on 07.07.2018 within a stipulated period.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the fourth respondent to permit the petitioner to conduct Jallikkattu function on 15.07.2018 regarding Sri Adikkalang Kathar Ayyanar temple festival or to consider the petitioner's representation as following on 07.07.2018 within a stipulated period.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), who takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 07.07.2018 to the respondents. But, so far, no order has been passed on the said representation. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the aforesaid prayer.
4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if the representation of the petitioner dated 07.07.2018 is directed to be considered and an order to that effect would be passed, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that if any direction is granted by this Court with regard to the consideration of the petitioner's representation, the same shall be considered in accordance with law. 6.In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.07.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 14.07.2018.
7.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
