ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to take appropriate action on the petitioner's representation dated 12.4.2014.
2.According to the petitioner, she was married to one S.Karthick. However, the petitioner's parents appeared to have opposed the marriage citing her husband's caste. The marriage took place on 23.03.2014 at a temple as per Hindu customs and rites and the same was registered before the Joint-1, Sub Registrar Office, Trichy.
3.It is the case of the petitioner that the third respondent and his henchmen are continuously threatening the petitioner and her husband and his relatives with dire https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
consequences and that as a result, the family of her husband had to leave from their home and stay along with them at Lalgudi. In view of the continuous threat and unfavourable atmosphere faced by them, the petitioner preferred a detailed complaint before the first respondent on 12.04.2014 to provide necessary protection. 4.When the matter came up for hearing on 11.07.2016, none appeared for the petitioner. Even today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. However, considering the nature of representation and the facts alleged in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of with the following direction:- "The first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 12.04.2014 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, and if necessary render adequate police protection to them".
