This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 20.11.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 & 2.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions, would submit that the enquiry was conducted on the petitioner's complaint and thereafter the same was closed as 'mistake of fact'. He also produced a copy of the closure report before this Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is directed to serve a copy of the closure report to the learned counsel for the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order, if not already served.
