PRAYER :- For Bail in Cr No.208/2023 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 17.03.2023 for the offence punishable under Sections 366 of IPC and sections 5(l) and 6 of POCSO Act in crime No.208 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein had kidnapped the minor girl and committed penetrative sexual assault on the minor victim girl and also threatened her with dire consequences , hence the case.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

4. It is seen that the petitioner fell in love with the victim girl and thereafter he had kidnapped the victim girl aged about 17 years from her college and had committed penetrative sexual assault on the minor victim hence he has committed a very serious and heinous offence as against the minor victim girl, hence this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2
