ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's name for the post of Mazdoor-II in the respondent Department based on his representation, dated 21.01.2015 within a stipulated time.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that initially the petitioner was appointed as a contract worker, who subsequently applied for the post of Mazdoor-II in the respondents/Department. In view of the failure on the part of the respondents to consider his case, the petitioner made a representation, dated 21.01.2015. Since his representation was not considered by the respondents, the petitioner is before this Court, seeking the above relief.

3. Upon notice, it is now ascertained that the petitioner had already crossed the age of superannuation and nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition. In such view of the matter, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
