Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission to conduct "Kabadi Competition" in memory of Muthalamman Kovil Maadu, AVM Kabadi Kuzhu 69th year festival for using Box Speakers on 14.07.2018 and 15.07.2018 starting from Saturday night 10.00 pm to Sunday evening 6.00 pm in our village Senthamangalam, Palamedu Via, Madurai District. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission to conduct "Kabadi Competition" in memory of Muthalamman Kovil Maadu, AVM Kabadi Kuzhu 69th year festival for using Box Speakers on 14.07.2018 and 15.07.2018 starting from Saturday night 10.00 p.m. to Sunday evening 6.00 p.m. in our village Senthamangalam, Palamedu Via, Madurai District. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), who take notice on behalf of the respondents.
3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 09.07.2018 to the respondents. But, so far, no order has been passed on the said representation. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the aforesaid prayer.

submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if the representation of the petitioner dated 09.07.2018 is directed to be considered and an order to that effect would be passed, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that if any direction is granted by this Court with regard to the consideration of the petitioner's representation, the same shall be considered in accordance with law. 6.Considering the said circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 14.07.2018.
7.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
