ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to remove the history sheet in the third respondent police station based on the representation of the petitioner on 06.05.2022 within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was implicated in several offences, for which, the respondents police issued a history sheet number and for removal of the same, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents on 06.05.2022 and the same was not considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition with the above said prayer. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered in the manner known to law.

4.In view of the above, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 06.05.2022 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the next committee meeting.

5.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. No costs.
