O R D E R

The present writ petition has been filed by a Sub Inspector who retired through Voluntary Retirement Scheme on 30.06.2021 seeking a mandamus as against the third respondent to forward his representation to the second respondent.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, on retirement on 30.06.2021, the petitioner was paid a lesser pension than what he is eligible. Therefore, the petitioner has sent a representation to the third respondent herein on 15.02.2023 and the same is pending for nearly one year.

3. Considering the above said facts, the third respondent is directed to forward the said representation to the second respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the second respondent finds that the petitioner is entitled for the claim made in the representation, he shall pass orders accordingly within a period of twelve (12) weeks thereafter. 2/4

4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
