This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry in the civil dispute of the petitioner's property in survey no. 124/3B measuring to an extent of 49.5 cents, Veerapandi Village, Theni. 2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that there is a civil dispute between the petitioner and one Jeyalakshmi, thereby, the said Jeyalakshmi lodged a false complaint against the petitioner and the same was enquired and closed. Again, the third and fourth respondents frequently called the petitioner for enquiry by interfering with the civil dispute.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the one Jeyalakshmi, an FIR has been registered and thereafter, the petitioner sent a complaint against the fourth respondent before the Chief Minister Cell and Superintendent of Police, Theni and the same was forwarded to the third and fourth respondents respectively. Therefore, they issued summons to the petitioner for appearance. Apart from that they have not harassed the petitioner as alleged in the petition. Only for enquiry purpose, they called the petitioner.
4.Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, recording that the third and fourth respondents have not harassed the petitioner and only based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, they called her for enquiry purpose, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. 21.04.2025 Internet :Yes Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No LR 3/5
