Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2. The management challenges the award passed by the Labour Court. During the pendency of the writ petition, the issue has been amicably resolved between the parties and a joint memorandum of compromise has been entered and it has also been filed before this Court. It has been signed by the respective counsel also. A sum of Rs.14,00,000/- has also been deposited by the management before the Labour Court. The wife of the workman, namely, Annalakshmi is permitted to file a petition before the Labour Court for withdrawal of the amount. The same shall be allowed by the Labour Court without notice to the management. The balance amount of Rs.1,00,000/- has already been paid.
3. This writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the Joint Compromise Memo dated 15.06.2023. It shall form part of the order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 15.06.2023 NCS : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes / No PMU 2/4
