O RDER This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to issue a "Non-Traceable Certificate" to the petitioner in respect of his original Sale Deed in Document No.1857/2015 dated 24.07.2015 on the files of the Sub Registrar, Vallioor forthwith.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent for misplacing of his original sale deed document bearing No.1857 of 2015 dated 24.07.2015, which was situated at South Valliyoor Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Thirunelveli District in Survey Nos.1539/1C2, 1533/2B, 1538/5C2, 1538/5C4, 1538/5C1B, 1539/1C1, 1538/5C3, 1538/5C1A and 1538/9. He would further submit that the petitioner has also made paper publication on 15.12.2022 and 16.12.2022 with regard to the missing of original document.

Considering the above, the second respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry ensuring the said document has not been deposited for any purpose, following the circular issued by the Director General of Police within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Depending upon the outcome of the above said enquiry, the petitioner can workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings, if not satisfied.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
