[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.] The petitioner would state that he studied up to 9th Standard and as per the certificate given by the Head Master, Concordia Higher Secondary School, Valliyoor, Tirunelveli District, he belongs to Hindu Adidravidar (Sambavar) Community and he applied for issuance of community certificate to that effect to the second respondent and according the learned counsel for the petitioner, the said application has not been processed so far and he requires the said certificate for employment and other purposes and hence, prays for appropriate orders.

2.Mr.M.Muthugeethaiyan, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that as per the online status available, the said application of the petitioner has been returned for certain compliances and the remedy open to the petitioner is to resubmit the said application or submit fresh application to the Tahsildar, Thovalai, Kanyakumari District.

W.P.(MD)No.10152 of 2020 3.This Court taking into consideration of the above facts grants liberty to the petitioner, either to apply afresh to the Tahsildar, Thovalai, Kanyakumari District seeking the said Hindu Scheduled Caste Community Certificate or represent the above said application to the said Tahsildar, who on receipt of the same is directed to consider the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and give a disposal within 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the said application either in the form of representation or fresh application and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

4.The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. However, in the circumstances of the case, there shall be no orders as to the costs.
