Mr.S.Chandrasekaran, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The petitioner has come forward to file the present Writ Petition seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to survey and and sub-divide his properties in Kuthiluppai Village in S.Nos.385, 377, 268 as mentioned in the petition dated 15.07.2014.

3. The petitioner has made a representation dated 15.07.2014, seeking to survey and sub-divide the properties in S.Nos.385, 377 and 268 situated at Kuthiluppai Village and paid necessary charges also, through a challan dated 16.07.2014. Since no action has been taken till date, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, a direction is issued to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.07.2014, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
