ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider the appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 04.04.2014.

2. When the matter is taken-up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents fairly submitted that the appeal of the petitioner will be disposed of, by the first respondent, within the time stipulated by this Court. As far as stay is concerned, the petitioner can move such application before the second respondent, who is the competent authority to decide such issue. On such filing of the application, the same will be considered by the said authority.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner was put on notice, who in turn, submitted that the petitioner is a salaried class person and therefore, the main appeal itself may be directed to be disposed of, within the time stipulated by this Court. 4.

In view of the above-said submission made by both the parties, the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 04.04.2014 shall be disposed of by the first respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and as far as the stay is concerned, the petitioner can move stay application before the second respondent to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
