O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.294 of 2024 dated 27.06.2024 and to file the final report within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, he is the defacto complainant in this case and based on his complaint, F.I.R in Crime No.294 of 2024 has been registered for the offences under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC. Thereafter, no proper investigation has been conducted and so far, not filed any final report. Hence, he has filed this petition.

3. The Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, F.I.R has been registered in Crime No.294 of 2024 and now, the case is pending for investigation. He would further submit that the former Investigating Officer is under suspension and they will complete the investigation within two months.

Advocate that the Investigating Officer is under suspension and they will complete the investigation within two months, this Court directs the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of two months from the date of this order.

5. With the above said observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
