Heard Mr.M.S.Jeyakarthick, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents. 2.The Revenue Divisional Officer, Sankarankovil, Tenkasi District, is suo motu impleaded for effective adjudication of this Writ Petition. 3.The petitioner, who is the Nattamai of the village, has come forward with the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation for issuance of patta in the name of the village Temple, namely, "Sri Mariamman Temple" in respect of lands in Survey Nos.720 and 721 in Aalama Naickerpattai Village, A.Karisalkulam Revenue Group, Thiruvengadam Taluk, Tenkasi District. The Writ Petition is filed only seeking disposal of the said representation.

4.Considering the limited relief sought for in the Writ Petition, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation for issuance of patta on merits and in accordance with law insofar as S.No.720 is concerned. Insofar as S.No. 721 is concerned, the third respondent shall hear the petitioner and after conducting due enquiry. shall dispose of the representation of the petitioner, a copy of which shall be forwarded by the petitioner to the third respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The entire exercise shall be completed by the second and third respondents within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
