This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation and file the final report in respect of Crime No.20 of 2024 dated 08.01.2024.
2. According to the petitioner, he is the victim in this case and based on the complaint, F.I.R in Crime No.20 of 2024 has been registered for the offences under Sections 294(b), 341, 352, 355, 353, 506(1) of IPC and 4 of the TN Prohibition of Harassments Act, 2002 . Thereafter, no proper investigation has been conducted and so far not filed the final report. Hence, he has filed this petition.
3. The Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that already they completed the investigation and filed the final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvidaimaruthur. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.
