O R D E R

This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection during the time of laying the fencing to the property of the petitioner, comprised in Survey No.494/5A, situated at Palarpatti Village, Uppukottai Post, Bodinayakanoor Taluk, Theni District, in accordance with law based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.03.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.Side) for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner is under consideration and they will conduct enquiry and take appropriate decision in accordance with law.

3. Considering the prayer sought for in this petitioner, this Court, without issuing notice to the fourth respondent, is inclined to pass orders.

4. According to the petitioner, there is a land dispute pending between the petitioner and fourth respondent. Thereby, he sent a representation for police protection to survey the land and the said representation is pending with third respondent. Therefore, it is appropriate to direct the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner.

5. In view of the same, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation and take appropriate decision in accordance with law after affording opportunity to both the parties within a period of 15 days from the date of this order.

6. With the abovesaid observations and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
