Mr.S.Shaji Bino, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent.

2. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

3. Heard Mr.M.Jerin Mathew, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Shaji Bino, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

4. The proceedings, which are the subject matter of this writ petition, are now admittedly pending before the Tribunal for Disciplinary Proceedings since the year 2023 and about three years have already elapsed. The grievance of the petitioner is that because of the prolonged disciplinary proceedings, his further prospectus in the service are seriously prejudiced. 5.

Mr.S.Shaji Bino, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the proceedings

pending before the Tribunal for Disciplinary Proceedings in TDP No.5 of 2023 would be disposed of as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks.

6. Considering the above, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to conclude the proceedings in TDP No.5 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible at any rate within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. 06.04.2026 NCC :
