This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the entire records pertaining to the case in Crime No.7 of 2023 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, City Crime Branch, Tirunelveli City and quash the same as against the petitioner.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that during the course of investigation, the name of the petitioner has been deleted from the case. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petiton is disposed of as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
